Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a Janata Darshan at the Gorakhnath Temple for the second consecutive day of his visit to Gorakhpur, assuring citizens that every grievance would receive prompt and effective action.
Addressing people who had gathered with complaints and requests, the Chief Minister said, “Do not worry. Every issue will be addressed effectively.” He directed officials present at the public hearing to ensure the speedy resolution of all grievances in a fair and time-bound manner.
During the interaction, CM Yogi met around 150 people seated outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan. Moving from one person to another, he personally received applications, listened to individual concerns, and issued instructions to the concerned administrative and police officials for appropriate action.
Complaints related to crime and alleged illegal encroachment on land drew particular attention, with the Chief Minister directing police authorities to take strict action wherever necessary.
The Chief Minister also reviewed requests seeking financial assistance for medical treatment. He instructed officials to expedite the preparation of cost estimates from hospitals, assuring applicants that the state government would release financial aid immediately after the required estimates are received.
Several women attending the Janata Darshan had brought their children along. CM Yogi interacted with the children, distributed chocolates, and offered them his blessings.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister visited the Gorakhnath Temple gaushala (cow shelter), where he participated in gau seva (cow care). He was seen calling several cattle by their names, with the animals responding to his familiar voice. The Chief Minister fed them jaggery, patted them affectionately, and also offered jaggery to other cows and bulls housed at the shelter.
He later reviewed the functioning of the gaushala and instructed its staff to continue ensuring proper care and welfare of the cattle.
The Janata Darshan programme remains a regular public outreach initiative through which the Chief Minister directly interacts with citizens and monitors the resolution of public grievances.
